Lack of education, awareness and sheer civic apathy on part of large number of Indians leads to a completely self-serving society where no one bothers that it is their own hard earned money (through taxes) that is being used to build roads and dividers and other such facilities. No, its not convenient for me - I need to cross the road at this point so let me break the road divider and make my own crossing. It is not my concern that this action of mine will potentially create a dangerous situation for traffic and possibly even cause accidents, forget the loss of money suffered on account of breakage of public property. Is this an example of a "Millenium City" in a Shining or a Rising India?

Seen the same thing in Bangalore ... I dont understand why people do that ... just to save like 2-3
