It has been two days since Diwali in Chennai but the garbage hasn't been cleared. Since the new company took over the cleaning up work in the city, this has become a recurring story. Garbage is being piled up on the roads as there are no adequate bins. In the past five years I have never seen the city so dirty and littered.
